Koshi Chimes


The 'Koshi' chimes are made by the inventor of Shanti chimes. The ‘Koshi’ chime is an authentic musical instrument, an original creation of high quality. Hand made at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains in France, each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship.
Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shorter chords gradually dominate and become fundamentals, thus forming a circular tone range.
Koshi chimes come in four tunings. Each has a specific magic timbre and can be played harmoniously with all others.

Move the chime gently holding it by its cord: the crystalline, relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder.
Outside, as it plays with the wind it will carry you away on an unexpected melody.

A new conception :


The tube, made in our workshop, consists of bamboo veneer treated with natural oil.
Size : Diam: 6.3 cm - Long: 16.5 cm (4 cm more than Zaphir chimes). Koshi chimes can be hanged outside under a covered place unlike the Zaphir chimes.

The Zaphir chimes


The 'Zaphir' chime is the new name of the 'Shanti chimes'. The 'Zaphir' chime is an authentic musical instrument, an original creation of high quality. Hand made in the Pyrenees mountains, each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship.

The Chime :
Create a zen atmosphere :
• The chime can be played as a tuned instrument, ideal to create your own songs (listen to Lys tracks at the bottom).
• Crystalline, relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder, the chime is ideal to start your day and to finish it in a zen mood.
• It can be used to harmonize the energy in a place, a room, a
a covered playground outside...
• These relaxing tones can be used to tranquilize a baby and delight him (idem for pregnant mothers).

There are 5 kinds of Zaphir chimes:
Zaphir 'Twilight' is the new name of Shanti chime : Moisson d'Or.
Zaphir 'Crystalide' is the new name of Shanti chime : Aube Cristalline.
Zaphir 'Sunray' is the new name of Shanti chime : Sundance.
zaphir 'Sufi' is a new one

Zaphir 'Blue Moon' is also a new one.

Every chimes are the same size 125mm long and diam. 65mm.
